    Responsibilities

    • The Senior DME Coordinator is responsible for the Coordination of office processes; clerical support.
    • Responsible for printing out schedule for DME techs for entire week, reprinting as needed
    • Responsible for scheduling all new DME set-ups, including any follow up appointments as needed
    • Responsible for flipping all new DME patient charts
    • Responsible for scanning all DME paperwork as needed into the DME EMR database
    • Responsible for matching verified service agreements to each lab schedule
    • Prep/scan all documents to each lab folder for techs
    • Make all confirmation calls for DME appointments for the next day
    • Process all completed technician paperwork (enter info in scheduler and copy for billing)
    • Responsible for removing no show/cancelation in scheduler and rescheduling appointments
    • Pull inventory to restock lab supply (this includes taking out of Main supply and putting it into Lab supply)
    • Keep a running inventory of machines/masks in Main location and labs monthly and give report to V.P. of Clinical Sleep
    • Ordering and receiving of new inventory
    • Enter and admit new DME patients when necessary
    • Assist with supply calls to supply coordinator and inside sales
    • Assist with all incoming calls
    • Obtain HMO referrals for all new DME HMO policies
    • Scan any requested documentation for pre certification for DME patients
    • Assist in providing patients with QOB as necessary
    • Completing the DME tech schedule for the month
    • Dispensing any supply orders for shipment when necessary
    • Creating new patient set-up folders
    • Assist with any walk-in or scheduled patients as necessary
    • Generate new DME orders for completed studies
    • Attends continuing education activities and maintains documentation of these activities.
    • Attends and participates in scheduled staff meetings.
    • Demonstrates personal commitment to the Mission Statement of LEXINGTON/Merit by providing excellent healthcare and service that is professional, friendly, courteous and timely.
    • Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and other LEXINGTON/Merit committees as requested.
    • Assists other team members when necessary.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    • Some unassisted lifting, pushing, and pulling may be required during normal work.
    • Employees are required to talk and hear, both in person and by telephone.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
    • Ability to multi-task and deal effectively in stressful situations.
    • Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal communication.
