    Responsibilities

    • The responsibility of the Bus Driver is to safely transport Lexington residents to and from scheduled appointments within a 5 mile radius of the building.
    • The Bus Driver also transports Lexington Residents on special trips scheduled by the Life Enrichment Department.
    • Also, it is imperative that the Bus Driver watch the video on how to operate the bus and the wheelchair lift.

    Qualifications

    • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (C.D.L.) safe driving record with no tickets within the last 5 years in areas such as, but not limited to speeding, DUI, reckless driving, etc.
    • Ability to understand the unique needs of the elderly.
    • Strong time management and problem solving skills
    • Customer service oriented with strong communication skills
    • Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
    • Preference for individuals with previous experience and CPR/First Aid training.
    • Ability to drive some evenings and weekend days.
    • Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language
